Yes, PurpleDrank, teams get better along the way, such as U-Dub last year. And teams get worst along the way, evidence in our waning performance down the stretch last season. Where is the clear-cut answer in this? Somewhere in the middle. Anyways, enjoy the game, hopefully that crazy kid who films himself during Washington games puts up another video, and here's to hoping for a good game, which the more I think about it, it probably will be close® than anticipated. My seats are right next to the Washington section, so it'll be interesting talking with some of the Husky fans. GBR and Saturday cannot get here soon enough!

I get the feeling this one will be closer than I would like. Personally, I want a beat-down, especially after what happened in the Holiday Bowl. It's not that I don't have faith in us, it's the fact that I'm willing to bet UDub comes rollin' into Lincoln pretty damn jacked up. That being said, Nebraska 31 Washington 10. As many of you have probably heard, an accident occurred Sunday afternoon near Perry, OK involving a family of Husker fans from Elkhorn, NE. One of those involved in the accident, is actually a friend of mine, and is in bad shape, as is his father. Both are at the OU medical center in OKC, and sadly, my friend's mother passed away from the accident. They drove down to Dallas to support our Big Red, and now let's see if the Big Red will support them in their time of need. I think it would be a very nice gesture if by any means, the football team could attend the mother's funeral. Probably a "pipe dream" type of idea, but I figured I would see what others thought. Have a great day, and this really puts the game of football into perspective.
