huKSer
Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs would make nice replacements. Oh.. You were being serious? They have to be COLLEGES Like Creighton and UMKC, both haven't lost a football game in like forever Quote Link to comment

Fuzzy
You know if they want to add two more Texas schools, we might as well split back up into two conferences again. The Big Six and the Texas Conference. Big Six: Nebraska Kansas Kansas State Iowa State Oklahoma Oklahoma State Texas Conference: Texas Texas Tech Texas A&M Baylor TCU Houston Might as well add SMU and Rice to the Texas conference since that usually is the horns non-conference schedule. Just remembered UTEP also. With that we might as well Tulsa, Wyoming, Colorado State and Utah. Im sure KSU and ISU wouldn't argue with that, they would no longer be the worse teams in the conference. mitch7
The state of Texas should create its own conference....they have enough teams Texas Texas Tech Texas A@M Baylor Rice Houston TCU North Texas Texas El Paso Texas State Texas University Stephen F. Austin Sam Houston State I know it is a stretch but jeepers how many schools does one state need? Quote Link to comment

I See Red People
Moved to Big 12 forum for continued discussion. Quote Link to comment
redout22
If MU and CU were to both leave the Big 12 that would be awesome. Not counting Texas those two are my least favorite teams in the Big 12. I think two good additions would be the two teams that played in BCS bowls this year, TCU and Boise. Quote Link to comment
Fuzzy
As much as it would make sense, i don't see Boise making the move to the Big 12, they would either stay in the WAC or move to the Pac-10. Same goes for BYU and Utah. Plus i don't see the Big 12 adding two BCS caliber teams to the conference. TCU would be a definate yes, but i think we add a smaller school, and its either going to be Wyoming, CSU, Tulssa, or some off the wall team that i can't think of right now. We'll probably get OSU to the north, and OU will stay in the south. Quote Link to comment
Paperback Writer
My take on conference expansion is that Colorado will defect to the PAC10 and Utah will join them. BYU will replace Colorado in the Big12. Missouri will stay in the Big12 with the Big10/11 inviting Rutgers instead. Boise St may opt for the MWC but it's tough to say how attractive the MWC will be without Utah and BYU (although the MWC would still have TCU). Think I have some very good reasons behind this scenerio if anyone cares to read more about it. Quote Link to comment
