Nexus
Nebraska's Kelsey Griffin is a Minnesota Lynx. . . for the time being. The Huskers' All-America forward was just taken with the third pick of the WNBA Draft, but a question was raised by the ESPN panel at the draft whether she'll remain a Lynx because she might be a better fit for another team. Regardless of what happens, analyst Carolyn Peck said: "Tough as nails, that's what I like about Kelsey Griffin. She is brains on the floor. ". . . A coach understands how important that is. Isn't that right, Connie Yori." Nebraska's coach was seated next to Griffin at the draft in Secaucus, N.J. We'll be back with any updates on Griffin and whether other Huskers get taken. knapplc
Awesome. We'll have two players picked in the top three in their respective drafts this year - Kelsey and Ndamukong. Gotta love that. Quote Link to comment
