GMoose Posted June 12, 2010 Share Posted June 12, 2010 This move makes me think that the only scenario that would change Bo from finishing his career at Nebraska would be a huge NFL offer, and give it ten years and even that kind of offer might not be enough. Hopefully so much of Osborne rubs off on him that the very thought of leaving becomes anathema. Word. And these days, you gotta be something special to get an NFL offer out of college, sans Lane Kiffin. Besides, if Bo got Nebraska to the point where he was getting NFL HC offers, we would be one of the hottest commodities in football. Like multiple NC's. Quote Link to comment
GMoose Posted June 12, 2010 Share Posted June 12, 2010 Another thing to remember is that any way you spin it, Bo Pelini beat Oklahoma and basically beat Texas in his second year as a head coach. We should be a contender to win the conference more often than some think once he's 5-7 years in I believe. And if NU is consistently challenging OSU and Penn State for conference championships Nebraska becomes a pretty darn good job. Quote Link to comment
