Brandon Jackson's discipline shows at Packers' camp

“My wife tells me, ‘You gotta do something different.’ I’m like, ‘All right, all right’ — but it doesn’t hurt to change,” Jackson said.

And those changes have already made a difference.

“Really like the camp that he’s having, really think he’s having a heck of a camp,” offensive coordinator Joe Philbin said.

Jackson pulled off a 95-yard kickoff return in the team intrasquad scrimmage at Lambeau Field, but that was just the eye-popping moment for most of the fans.

During practices, he’s demonstrated he has grown as a player.

“Brandon is coming into his own,” Grant said. “His confidence level is sky high. From every standpoint he’s playing well — carries, receptions, blitz pickups, and I know he wants to build on top of that.” linky

BJax has been a good back for them - on 3rd downs, and last year, especially growing into that blitz pickup role.

However, each year he's had really strong training camps. I hope this is the year he finally breaks out.

Yeah, entering his 3rd NFL season and looking good. Who woulda thunk it back around spring game time in 2006. He was buried 4th or 5th on the depth chart for a while, or something like that iirc. Bjax has done quite well.

I too hope he breaks out for Green Bay this season, with a QB like Rodgers he should be able to be successful behind Grant.
