Husker Runner
Colorado (3-4 overall, 0-1 Big 12) at #4 Nebraska (9-1 overall, 1-0 Big 12) When: Saturday, September 18th, 7pm CT Where: NU Coliseum, Lincoln, Nebraska TV: NET (local only) Video Webcast: CLICK HERE Audio Webcast: CLICK HERE Live Stats: CLICK HERE Colorado was swept by Oklahoma in their conference opener in Boulder on Wednesday. Head coach Liz Kritza begins a complete rebuilding job with Colorado volleyball with 11 freshmen and 5 new transfers on the team this season. There are no Nebraskans on the roster, but transfer setter Michelle Miller's family lives close to me in Round Rock, Texas. She played club ball with Austin Juniors and transferred to Colorado this season after playing last year at Sam Houston State. She was on the Austin Juniors 17 team that won the U.S. Junior Nationals. She also played on the Round Rock HS team under head coach Diane Watson, who has coached my daughter in club clinics. Of course I'll be rooting for the Huskers, but way to go, Michelle! Quote Link to comment
huskersrule95
Huskers start slow and make a lot of errors early but still dominate the set 25- 13 Quote Link to comment
huskersrule95
The Huskers absolutely dominate the 2nd set 25-7. Quote Link to comment
Husker Runner
Pretty much going as it should...which is good to see. :-) Quote Link to comment
huskersrule95
Huskers win set 3 25-17 to win the match 3-0: 25-13, 25-7, 25-17. What I expected against a young and rebuilding Colorado team. The scores could have been a lot worse in the 1st and 3rd sets if it wasnt for a lot of errors by the Huskers. Quote Link to comment
Husker Runner
Michelle Miller got playing time in a couple of sets tonight. My daughter thought that was pretty cool. Huskers took care of business. Quote Link to comment
