The video's pretty amusing This was somewhat of a hot topic yesterday on ESPN, showing and discussing the video on almost all of their shows. Apparently, the only reason the guy wanted to be the mascot for Ohio was so he could do this very thing. "It was actually my whole plan to tackle Brutus when I tried out to be mascot," said Brandon Hanning, formerly known as Ohio University's Rufus Bobcat. "I tried out about a year ago, and the whole reason I tried out was so I could come up here to Ohio State and tackle Brutus." "Bobcats coach Frank Solich summed up it nicely: "Obviously we needed to tackle the guy with the ball, not the mascot." Quote Link to comment
