Redout
Brian Bailey, the once new strength and conditioning coach, that all the players loved is reportedly fired. What does it all really mean................I have no idea, but I did know that many players, including Cory Schleshinger came back every yar to work out with him. http://www.omaha.com/index.php?u_np=0&u_pg...38&u_sid=979474 redout Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt
Interesting. Sucks for BB, b/c it sounds as if it wasnt a performance issue but more based on superficial pretenses, a la Solich. Thanks to Brian Bailey for everything you did for the program over the past 18 yrs, b/c you dont stick around somewhere for that long and not contribute a great deal. Its a shame to see all of these historic lineages severed like this. Seems as if Turner is one of the only remaining Buffalo Soldiers from heyday. I still say SP is trying way too hard to completely cleanse something that wasnt exactly dirty, and am afraid that this may take longer than we think to get this locomotive moving again in the other direction. Hell we havent even come to a complete and screaching halt yet for that matter. So please continue to keep your hands and ass inside STEVE's Big Red Machine, as you may be at risk of losing one or all of the above. Im not a huge anit-Steve guy, but I really think this is somewhat related to his ego and his desire to put his "fingerprint" or handprint for that matter all over the program. shirt Quote Link to comment

Guest WyomingHusker
He is cleaning house! I bet most recruits will come from out of state. Very few instate atheletes fit his mold. I don't even think the big corn fed lineman will meet his criteria. You have not even began to see the changes this guy is bringing! Tradition is gone. Quote Link to comment
Redout
Correction: Dave Langworthy, Kennedy's top assistant at Pitt, also has joined Nebraska's strength staff, while Bailey has been demoted to assistant strength coach. redout Quote Link to comment
