SaturnDrew
Beat Oklahoma in Arrowhead, beat Oklahoma in the state of Texas....does it really matter? There shouldn't be any crowd advantage of one over the other. I'm thrilled that the Big 12 good prevailed over evil and we have this matchup. Quote Link to comment
SaturnDrew
Drinking? Speaking of. Assuming we have Musberger and Herbstreit calling our game, drink every time Musberger says "Herbie." And I could not be happier about the potential ending to this season... How about everytime he says something stupid like a "hoosier is down" when OU and OSU are playing, or everytime he calls a TD/first down when the guy is tackled 5 yards short, or an incomplete pass that is completed/picked off. We should demand Keith Jackson come out of retirement to broadcast this game. Quote Link to comment
Street Novelist
Nebraska vr Oklahoma for the last Big 12 Championship. Two warrior programs with so much tradition in their rivalry. The game gets played in F'n Texas. Idiodacy! Stupidity! A complete lack of knowledge of history and tradition. This game belongs in Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City. I am livid with rage over this asinine scheduling. I just want to scream. T_O_B errr...When was the last NU/OK game played at Arrowhead? Quote Link to comment
Jskers95
We will be fine. I would rather play in Dallas and wear a tshirt then playing in 20 degree weather. Quote Link to comment
Haspula
We haven't won any game in Texas this season so it will be tough Quote Link to comment
omahahusker
I'm almost positive that the CCG location has been Arlington, Texas for a while.. This isn't really news.. Quote Link to comment
tschu
asinine scheduling? this deal to put this game in Arlington was made years ago. Nobody knew it would be NU vs OU. Besides, playing OU in arrowhead is not a tradition (or a thing that has happened very much at all, ever, really) so idk what this thread is all about. I don't care where we beat Oklahoma. Texas is fine with me. Quote Link to comment

krill
CCG's are strictly a revenue generating venture for conferences and Jerry sparred no expense on his playground. After the Arrowhead renovations were completed this year there would have been a decent argument to go back to alternating venues, but obviously that doesn't matter now for the Big 12. I expect our half of the seats to be filled and rocking with the same for OU, so neither team will have an advantage in Dallas. Quote Link to comment

I totally lost it when I heard that. I bet there was a hoosier down somewhere though... Quote Link to comment
