AndrewBrandt
Ok I know this was said somewhere already on here, but what all star bowl games are our seniors playing in? Quote Link to comment
HuskersGJ
So far.. Senior Bowl: Alex Henery, Roy Helu (Amukamara has been invited and tweeted that Keith Williams, Mike McNeill, and Niles Paul were also invited) http://www.seniorbowl.com/rosters.asp East/West Shrine: Pierre Allen, Mike Smith http://www.shrinegame.com/en/Teams/Watchlist.aspx A new one, something called the Eastham Energy All Star Game (Tempe AZ). Eric Hagg, DJ Jones, Ricky Henry, Joe Moglia will coach (vs Hal Mumme) http://www.easthamallstargame.com/stars.php Another new game, no rosters announced yet. My guess is this may be the first and last game from this one. The people running this one have already shown they weren't very bright when they initially schedule the game for 1/1/11 because there were no other all-star games to contend with. but they apparently forgot about the BOWL GAMES that were still going on. http://s94823118.onlinehome.us/dixiegridironclassic.com/rosters.php Texas vs the Nation (or is it the "NFLPA Game"?)- no rosters yet. http://www.texasvsthenation.com/ Quote Link to comment

HuskersGJ
Surprised Gomes hasnt been invited to anything yet.I bet that will change. It changed. Eric Hagg and DeJon Gomes will play for Texas in the NFLPA/Texas vs Nation game http://www.texasvsthenation.com/press/news/175-nfl-players-association-game-finalizes-rosters- FWIW, Nathan Enderle will play QB for the Nation. Its not exactly the Senior Bowl but according to their site, "93% of the 2009 roster went on to sign NFL contracts, 111 out of 119". So its not a bad gig. Still no word on who, if any Huskers will be in the Dixie game. Frankly I'm kind of wondering if they'll get enough responses to their invitations to even have a game. Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
Joe Moglia said yesterday that Hagg had pulled out of the Eastham Energy Game. I am actually very suprised that he would pass up the chance at playing in front of his hometown friends and family. Maybe he didn't want Gomes to be lonely. And what since NU played twice this year in the state of Texas they get the honr to play "for" the state. Quote Link to comment

The Texas game seems to have more NFL connections and exposure since the Eastham game is so new. So that's two guys that were in one game but opted for a better one (Allen and now Hagg).
