Roxy15 Posted January 20, 2011 Share Posted January 20, 2011 Jalapeno Taco Pie: 1 lb. Ground Beef 1 Onion, Finely Diced Salt & Pepper To Taste 1 Pkg. Taco Seasoning Mix ***Follow Package Directions 1 Cup Nacho Sliced Jalapeno Peppers, Diced 1 Pkg. Taco Shells-(12 Or More) 4 Cups Cheddar Cheese 1 Cup Tomatoes, Diced Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In large frying pan, brown beef with onion, salt and pepper over medium heat. Break meat into small pieces. After the meat is thoroughly cooked, drain off the fat. Stir in water with Taco Seasoning Mix. Simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add Jalapenos to meat, mix well. Break Taco Shells into halves and layer half of them on a lightly greased 9x13-in. baking dish. Spoon half of meat mixture over Taco Shells, and sprinkle with 2 cups cheese. Repeat with Taco Shells, Meat & Cheese. Top with tomatoes and serve. Quote Link to comment
