flatwaterfan
SS Ethan Garlington http://nebraska.scout.com/2/1092226.html But we lost Jake Thompson to TCU Quote Link to comment
HuskerHacker
I wasn't surprised by Thompson's switch from us to TCU. When Anderwatson was fired one had to expect a couple athletes to change their commitment. Especially if Erstad is recruiting speed, speed and more speed. "Hell on the bases, right?" Turn2
I wasn't surprised by Thompson's switch from us to TCU. When Anderwatson was fired one had to expect a couple athletes to change their commitment. Especially if Erstad is recruiting speed, speed and more speed. "Hell on the bases, right?" Jake Thompson switched his commitment because that is what he does, not because Anderson is gone. Hell on the bases" doesn't prevent Erstad from recruiting big arms or big bats. Thompson is a two way player (with + power and a big arm) who will be drafted out of high school as a pitcher most likely. Personally, I am not a fan of the two way player. That doesn't mean I wouldn't take a Bubba Starling or a Danny Hultzen on my team. However, baseball doesn't like those players either because eventually baseball will choose one position for them! flatwaterfan
Kildow is an interesting pickup. if he can get on base he should be a terror. Should have great range in the OF. Quote Link to comment
HuskerHacker
rather a surprise... I like the fact that he went to Bo and Brown before approaching Erstad... Shows class and good judgment. Hope he's right. Hope the knee holds out and his base speed returns. Quote Link to comment
