Bears Return Home to Face Nebraska

Oklahoma Game To Be Televised on Fox Sports Net

The Baylor athletic department is calling upon fans to "Fill the Floyd" for Saturday's 6:05 p.m. (Central) home game against 4-1 Nebraska. The 4-1 Bears return home following their first Big 12 road win ever, Saturday's 23-13 victory at Iowa State.

 

"There is tremendous excitement and anticipation surrounding this game and we are asking every Baylor fan to be a part of it," said Baylor Director of Athletics Ian McCaw. "Let's "Fill the Floyd" and wear gold on Saturday night as we cheer the Bears."

 

The Athletic Ticket Office will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. (Central). Fans may also purchase tickets on-line at BaylorBears.com or by calling (254) 710-1000 or 1-800-BAYLORU option 7. Tickets are priced at $35 each.

 

"Our players are working hard and doing their part," said Baylor coach Guy Morriss. "We need our fans to show up, fill up the stadium and help be the difference in this game."

 

Baylor's 1980 Southwest Conference championship football team will be honored at halftime of Saturday's game and the I Believe Walkway will officially be dedicated at 4:45 p.m.

 

The Bears, 4-1 overall and 1-1 in the Big 12, are off to their best start since the 1995 season when they also opened at 4-1 and finished 7-4.

the way the baylor athletic department is treating this game reminds me of the game that nebraska played down at southern miss. so many expectations for southern miss to win, and then nebraska put them back in there place... i see it goin the same way this time as well

Every team that plays us now will do this because they know they have a chance.
