Reminder: Double Check DVR Timers

During the week, the BTN channels can be in flux for a bit. These are the current channel lineups from BTN's site. If you set a timer earlier this week, they may have changed.

I have DirecTV and confirmed I'll get the game tomorrow. I went into the "Guide", flipped to channel 610 then advanced it to tomorrow at 2:30. UT-Chattanooga vs Nebraska is what I'm seeing

Holy last minute programming upgrade, Batman!!!

 

I looked at that B10 Netwerk link, Saw a phone number for Dish Network and called them.

 

1) Found out I was paying ~$12 more/month than I'd hoped I was (Need to start opening my bills even though I have autopay)

 

2)They would only charge me a dozen dollars more to add "plus" to my 120 channels (includes local sports FSN) and I'd get the B1G thingy.

 

3) I assume it would take a few days, they said 10-15 min.

 

4)I ask if I can call around to competitors..maybe get cable again and not have to say naughty stuff at passing planes that like to block me signal.

 

5)They cut it down to a $7 increase.

 

6) I still say I want to compaire.

 

7) I get transfered to an acct specialist who gives me the additional programming and throws in HD..all for what I've been paying all along..

 

8) I still need to check out the competition, and was assured I could cancel without penalty.

 

 

 

Now to check out channel 439/9500(HD)..Never had HD before..figured My eyes couldn't tell the diff.

It's showing up for me on 615 one of the alternate channels, may want to double check just so you dont record some other game...

Strange, the DirecTV app on my iPhone shows a different game but when I go to DirecTV.com it shows Nebraksa, I'm recording them both so I don't come home from work and have to kill myself.
