It was a pretty simple statement, stolen from Jack Donaghy and modified a touch. Frankly, that's how I feel about him though. I can't stand the guy, from a personality standpoint. I think he comes across as incredibly conceited, and I still clearly remember him lying with a perfectly straight face about his intentions to go to Alabama. On the same token, he is clearly an incredibly brilliant college football coach. He made huge strides at Michigan State, had the golden touch at LSU, and 'Bama...good lord. We all know how good Alabama has been under Saban. So, while every interview I watch with him involved grates on me, I have to concede that he is one hell of a coach. I respect his abilities.
