CornHunka
I honestly wonder if Graham Spanier really knew about what was going on at Penn State all this time. Do you really think he would have spear-headed Nebraska joining the Big 10 if he knew all this? He had to have known that this kind of scandal would not only rock Penn State, but the conference as a whole. Really makes me wonder, what say you? Quote Link to comment
scarletNcream
I think Tom Corbett knew more than he is saying. He left in 95 and three years later the 1 accusation come up. Really Quote Link to comment
VA Husker Fan
When you sweep something under the rug like this, you fool yourself into thinking it will never come to light. Even if you are nervous about it, once you've gone down that path it's tough to turn around. Quote Link to comment
DelK
Of course he knew. The heir apparent to the head football coach retires at age 55, with no health or other problems, after a mother makes phone calls about inappropriate connection between the retiree and her son? Any body would ask why and, if the answer was, "you don't want to know", he'd damn well find out. As for the coaching staff, as Switzer said, EVERYBODY on staff had to know. Quote Link to comment
