In reality, you can't fault G.W. Bush for anything fiscally from September 2001 through 2003--that event freaked everyone right the hell out, and understandably so.

 

But two years is a proper generous amount of time to turn lemons into lemonade--Obama did as much in half the time, and with two wars (compared to the one with Afghanistan) going on. But since he is Barak Hussein Obama, he must of used witchcraft or sold his soul to the devil to get this done.

Just read the original article - fantastic. There have definitely been a few disappointments in Obama's first term, but really he's done quite well. I've spent the last year or so viewing or reading very little "news." It's amazing how dysfunctional the perspective of the 24-hour-news media really is, and that perspective of course slips into the political process. It's great to read an article by a journalist who has taken the time to step back and look at the big picture.
