Roxy15 Posted June 25, 2012 Share Posted June 25, 2012 (edited) This is tried and true and we really like it. Have to let black-eyed peas sit overnight. 2-14.5-oz. Cans Hunt's Diced Basil Garlic & Oregano 3 Cloves Garlic 1 White Onion, Chopped 1 Pkg. Black Peppered Bacon 2 Green Bell Peppers, Chopped 1 Pkg. Black-Eyed Peas Tabasco Sauce-(To Taste) Cover black-eyed peas with cold water in bowl; refrigerate overnight, uncovered. When ready to make; drain water off peas; put in Dutch Oven. Add all above ingredients; stir. Put on stove; boil. Once it starts to boil, turn down to low heat for 3-4 hours. Edited October 14, 2012 by Roxy15 1 Quote Link to comment
