Roxy15
I have made this recipe and it is really good and it is the only recipe I will use to make baked mac and cheese...sorry I had to start a new topic for this..it is easier for me to just start a new topic. Just guessing..it would probably feed 5 people if they took 1 cup each..so you will have to adjust the amount of ingrediets. I will add some chopped onion to it, the next time I make it. ***If it doesn't look creamy enough for you..just make more sauce, etc. Baked Mac & Cheese: 1/4 Cup Butter Or Margarine, Divided 1/4 Cup Flour 1 Cup Milk 1/2 lb.-(8-oz.)-Velveeta, Cut In 1/2-in. Cubes 2 Cups Elbow Macaroni, Cooked 1/2 Cup Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese 6 Ritz Crackers, Crushed-(About 1/4 Cup) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt 3 T. butter or margarine in medium saucepan on medium heat. Whisk in flour; cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly; gradually stir in milk. Bring to boil, cook and stir 3-5 minutes or until thickened. Add Velveeta, cook 3 minutes until melted, stirring frequently; stir in macaroni. Spoon into 2-qt. casserole sprayed with non-stick cooking spray; sprinkle with Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese.. Melt remaining butter, top with Ritz Cracker crumbs; sprinkle over casserole. Bake 20 minutes or until heated through. . 2 Quote Link to comment
