knapplc
It's been a bit of a roller coaster this year for Nebraska in the polls: AVCA Preseason: #4 W1 - 1 W2 - 1 W3 - 1 W4 - 3 W5 - 6 W6 - 4 W7 - 3 W8 - W9 - W10 - W11 - W12 - W13 - W14 - W15 - NCAA Seeding - As I write this, 10/10/12, our RPI puts us #3 behind Stanford & Penn State. The only other Big Ten team in the top ten in RPI is Minnesota at #10, whom we play Sunday (10/14) on ESPN2. The Big Ten is well-represented in the Top 25: 1 - Penn State 3 - Nebraska 10 - Minnesota 17 - Purdue 19 - Ohio State 22 - Illinois 25 - Michigan State We're the only conference with seven ranked teams, and if these guys all keep winning we shouldn't have much trouble keeping a high RPI. The main thing hurting us right now is our Iowa State loss. They're ranked #23 in the AVCA poll and 44th in RPI. CJ can beat us, but she's 9-6 on the year. Go figure. Quote Link to comment

knapplc
Wow, I guess I'm sleeping on our friends to the south. Gotta love having three teams in the top 15 RPI within 100 miles of each other, all of whom are 1,000 miles from the nearest beach. I love that volleyball is leaving the coasts and becoming a nation-wide sport. Quote Link to comment
