at what point in the NW game did the defensive players choose the scheme?

Woah, isn't this much ado about nothing?

 

We were showing a new 3 down linemen look, standing up RG from the second level. All I read was that at some point during the game the staff asked for feedback from the players and they all decided the 3 DL thing wasn't working, so we went away from it. It sounds utterly normal. Feedback's a natural part of the game.

Haven't we been using the 3 man front with Gregory roaming all year?

Not a lot. But yes, right from the first game against Wyoming.
