Noteworthy to Husker fans only in passing.

 

If I remember correctly, Grobe was a finalist for the Husker job and was eliminated when T.O. refused to allow him to bring all of his assistants with him. (T.O. wanted to retain some Husker coaches, notably Shawn Watson).

 

Am I remembering this accurately ??
