Kurt Mann to miss Spring Practice

I've heard it thru the family that Kurt Mann will have shoulder surgery and will miss Spring practice. He should be healed up in plenty of time for Fall camp.

Looks like Roark will get a ton of reps in spring with the #1's. Hopefully that will translate to a quality back up come fall football.

Yeah hopefully Roark will be ready because Wagner was subbing every line position except center. Mann played a ton all year and we all know that he's not the biggest guy on the line. I think Mann was our most consisten O-lineman this past season, but he played so much that he had to have worn down as the season progressed. If Roark can spell him for series or two, Kurt will be that much better in October and November in 2006.

In the end this will help. Maybe he can even overtake Mann??!!?

I think it will be Mann's spot if he recovers ok. The only way I see Mann losing the starting job is if he doesn't recover well. But I do agree, the extra reps for the other guys is going to be beneficial.
