NUance
Making the most of second chance, Lewis proud to be a Husker captainJune 11, 2015 6:55 am • By BRIAN CHRISTOPHERSON | LINCOLN JOURNAL STAR<snip>Lewis was named captain a year to the day he left a Colorado jail, where he spent 45 days after pleading guilty to misdemeanor assault for his role in a fight with another man in May 2013, before he joined the Nebraska football program.Much has changed in the past two years, he’s quite sure. Much to the positive. After transferring from Colorado, he quickly gained the respect of his new teammates, starting all 13 games last season. More importantly, he’s on pace to graduate with a degree in sociology in August before his second and final season as a Husker begins.LINK Pretty good article from a couple days back. I still wonder whether Lewis got screwed over that fight in Colorado. Oh well. That's behind him now. 1 Quote Link to comment

JJkinz
Good for him. Now he needs to work on those false start penalties - he relies too much on second chances. 1 Quote Link to comment
