Roxy15 Posted August 1, 2015 Share Posted August 1, 2015 White Cheddar Garlic Mashed Potatoes: 4 Russet Potatoes, Peeled & Cut In Half 8 T. Salted Butter, Room Temperature 1 Cup Sour Cream 1 Cup Sharp White Cheddar Cheese, Shredded 1-1/4 Tsp. Minced Garlic 1-2 T. Heavy Cream Or Milk Salt & Pepper, To Taste Cook potatoes in a large pot of salted water for about 20 minutes, or until tender. When potatoes are tender, strain them and transfer to a large mixing bowl. Add butter, sour cream, cheddar, garlic, and salt & pepper, and mash with a potato masher. Once combined, add heavy cream-(or milk)-1 Tsp. at a time, until desired consistency. Quote Link to comment
