Mavric
Oct. 7 Wisconsin at Nebraska Wisconsin is the prohibitive favorite in the Big Ten West, and its divisional supremacy could be locked up rather early this season. The two contenders mostly likely to challenge the Badgers for their crown are Northwestern (Sept. 30) and Nebraska, a pair Wisconsin drew in back-to-back weeks this season. Both the Badgers and Cornhuskers could be undefeated by the time they meet – Wisconsin has tests against BYU and Northwestern, while Nebraska must travel to Oregon – and this matchup will carry the kind of weight appropriate for teams with that record. If Wisconsin wins, only home games with Maryland and Michigan and a road matchup against Minnesota are particularly trying the rest of the way. The Badgers have represented the Big Ten West (formerly the Leaders Division) four out of six years in Big Ten Championship Game history. It’ll likely be up to Nebraska or Northwestern to stop that trend. 247 Quote Link to comment
