 At long last, the most wonderful time of the year has arrived!  Hope my HS senior son of mine is awake by game time, otherwise it will be a rude awakening for him, LOL.

 

Now to try out the Prairie Meadows sports book app.

‘Twas the hours before kickoff, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even my spouse.

 

The huskers flag was hung outside with care, in hopes that a Husker victory would soon be there.

 

The children are nestled, all safe in their beds, visions of fast touchdowns dancing in their heads.

 

And the dog in his collar, and I in my red cap, drinking far too much coffee before the first snap. 

 

When all of a sudden, I remembered the news,

that Adrian Martinez had new boys in new shoes.

 

I got so excited, I danced and I sang, and I yelled out wildly with a confident twang

 

“The culture is Frosty! You heard what I said! Time for a victory boys! Go. Big. Red!!!!”
