Roxy15
I made this for dinner last night. I usually make this in a crockpot, but, I didn’t get the stuff to make it in time, so I used my Dutch Oven. I have a great homemade sauce, but, i was in a hurry so I just used Prego.. 1-Pkg. Johnsonville Italian Sausage Links 1-1/2 lbs. Lean Ground Beef Diced White Onions Diced Garlic Diced Green Peppers 1-Pkg. Sliced Fresh Mushrooms 3 Jars Prego Italian Sausage & Garlic Garlic Salt/Black Pepper ****I Sprinkled Some Garlic Salt & Black Pepper On The Hamburger While It Was Frying & Added Some To The Dutch Oven Mixture. Fettuccini Slice Johnsonville Italian Sausage Links into thick chunks. Melt some butter in a skillet and cook the Italian Sausage Links until done. Put links in a plate and pat the grease off with a paper towel. While the Sausage Links are frying, fry the hamburger in skillet: drain grease if there is any. I used lean ground hamburger so there wasn’t any. I patted it with a paper towel though just to make sure. Add the Sausage Links, hamburger and the veggies and Prego to a Dutch Oven; stir. Cook on low until heated through. I cooked it on low for a couple of hours probably. Cook Fettuccini: according to directions. Plate Fettuccini and pour sauce over. Sprinkle Parmesan Cheese and Red Pepper Flakes over-(opt.) Served with a salad and garlic bread, Quote Link to comment
