Roxy15
This cheese sauce turned out great for Thanksgiving if anyone wants to try it; I put it over broccoli. 2 T. Butter 2 T. Flour 2 Cups Half-And-Half Or 2 Cups Milk ***I Used Half-And-Half Recipe Called For 3 Cups Cubed Velveeta: Cubed About 1-inch But I Shredded A Whole Pkg. Of Cheddar Cheese & Used It All, Was Too Tired & Lazy To Measure ha! I Am Glad I Used It All Salt & Pepper, To Taste Sprinkle Of Paprika Or Cayenne-(1/4-Tsp. Or So) Melt the butter in a skillet or saucepan; remove from heat. Blend in flour using a wire whisk. Return to heat; gradually whisk in the half-and-half or milk; bring to a light boil; keep whisking until the mixture is smooth. Add in the cubed velvets ir Shredded Cheddar Cheese; continue to whisk until the cheese is melted. If it seems too thick, stir in some more half-and-half or milk. Add salt and pepper, to taste; stir well. Pour cheese sauce over broccoli: sprinkle some paprika or cayenne on top. Quote Link to comment
