Cover the tri-tip with Pappy’s Sauce; refrigerate overnight. Sprinkle some garlic salt and pepper on it when ready to grill. Northern Beans With Ham: Put a pkg. of northern beans in a bowl and cover with water; refrigerate overnight The next morning, dice 2 green peppers, a purple onion , chop garlic-(to taste)- or use Christopher Ranch Minced Garlic Put northern beans in stockpot and add water to an inch or so above beans;; bring to a boil. Once the beans are boiling, turn the heat down to low. Add the veggies and a ham hock. Added some hot sauce, but, that’s optional; stir. Put the lid on, but, leave it open just a little bit.
