Roxy15
I made a salad, mashed potatoes and baked some hamburger patties for dinner the other night. The hamburger patties turned out really good, but, the next time I make this, I will check on them after they bake for 30 minutes. My ankle was hurting all day and then my dog ran into it and it made it hurt even more and I had to rest it and I forgot to check it. Use any kind of breadcrumbs you want. I had some hamburger buns left from the other night and I didn’t want them to go bad, so I used them. Below is the recipe I used and the notes I made for the next time I make this. Hamburger Steaks With Mushroom Gravy: I Used About 2-lbs. Hamburger 1 Large White Onion, Diced 1 Whole Bunch Garlic, Finely Chopped 1 Egg, Beaten ***Put It In A Bowl & Mixed Using A Fork Breadcrumbs/Used 5 Hamburger Buns & Used Food Processor To Make Into Crumbs. I Didn’t Want Them To Waste/Use Any Kind Of Bread You Want 1 Pkg. Lipton Onion Soup Mix 1 Cup Milk Seasoned Salt, Garlic Salt & Pepper, To Taste In a large bowl, add hamburger and use hands to break it up. Add the rest if the ingredients and mix well. Put into large glass baking dish; cover with foil; refrigerate until ready to bake. When ready to bake, preheat 350 degrees. Bake until done. ***Baked it for an hour, but, it could of been taken out sooner. The next time I make this, I will check it when it has baked for 30 minutes. Serve with mushroom gravy over it. ***Used 2 pkg.s. McCormick Mushroom Gravy; out it in pan and slowly whisked in 2 cups water; heat. Added some kitchen bouquet and added some Wondra Flour to thicken it some. Next time I make this, I will fry some onions and fresh sliced mushrooms and pour gravy over steaks and maybe add some sliced fresh mushrooms to the gravy. Quote Link to comment
