Eric the Red
“ The coaching staff finally showed their hand a bit in how they’ll utilize the smorgasbord of I-back talent.”Grant MuesselHail Varsity Clearly our most and deepest position are the RB's and I think we can expect to see tons of these plays. True2tRA
I need more HB screen and less WR screen. WR screen to DPE or Turner is cool, but it shoul be situational. I can't stand when team overuse it. Speed sweep with Reilly, DPE, or Turner all day long. Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
That was one major bright spot of the day. We were already running WR/RB/TE screens very well. Sure Taylor dropped one for a pick and Leroy absolutely blew one up. But watching those, especially that TE middle screen develop, was a thing of beauty. Quote Link to comment
Hayseed
I was impressed with the timing and execution of the plays on the beginning series of the scrimmage......they looked very sharp. I also liked the play variety and the use of our talented receivers in running plays. The only thing that concerned me about the offense was our inability to go deep with any consistency;....it won't do us much good if we're good at short plays but the defense is able to stack the line on us. In that regard it's also good that we appear to have some TE's this year. Quote Link to comment

Once we establish that in a game I think you go deep with same action and motion Quote Link to comment
