Crusader Husker
1 medium onion- chopped 1 tbsp olive oil 1cup whole cranberry sauce 1 tbsp Dijon mustard 1tsp sugar 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 hot pepper sauce 1/2 cup sauerkraut rinsed and drained In a small saucepan, sauté onions in oil until tender. Add cranberry sauce, mustard, sugar, garlic powder and pepper sauce. Cook and stir for 5 to 10 minutes or until the cranberry sauce is melted. Add kruat and heat through. if you like it hot add more pepper sauce (Tabasco) make 1/2 cups. Takes about 25 minutes to make I love this stuff on brats. Would be great on hot dogs, or by itself. Enjoy! 1 Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
Thanks. I will attempt this very soon. Something about kraut and cranberries together seems like a really good plan. Quote Link to comment
Crusader Husker
I didn't get to make it this week. Got a late start on it. Let me know if you get a chance to try it. Quote Link to comment
