  1. It's been a LOOOONG time since a team has brought a 3rd string QB in against NU for mop up duties.
  2. Oh how the mighty have fallen. Sad days.... Reminds me of the last Callahan season. Embarrassing
  3. How many more tackles does green have to miss before they sit him?
  4. Definitely have the knack to make regular teams look like national champions. Can't beat the other teams and the refs as well. GBR!
  5. Too many 3rd downs where they didn't blitz and only rushed 4. I haven't seen rushing 4 work in a long time. Guess I'm missing something. Always next year...... I guess.
  6. EVERY FIRST DOWN PLAY GOES TO THE RIGHT. DAMN. Game over.
  7. 3 guys blocking #55 on that pass play. Awesome. Glad to see another half time without any adjustments. Again.
  8. You blitz, it works. Don't blitz, doesn't work. Easy. Go back and watch Michigan State last week.
  9. Why is every 1st down play a run to the right side? Dang near every one so far. We should be stomping them with the way the defense is playing. Let's not get away from the blitz Pelini.
  10. Can't run without legs underneath ya. That's what my coaches always said.
  11. I think the replay showed the ball hitting either his right or left hand first and that's why he missed it. Wonder if he has a hard time seeing the ball sometimes? Then other times, the dude catches a highlight reel one hander. Just and all around off day for the guys, but back in the day it was still something they could overcome. Maybe it's the Y Generation coming out.......
  12. If we aren't careful we are going to lose the good assistant coaches we do have as well.
  13. A big glaring point is that one of our linemen couldn't handle the BEST lineman Minnesota has. Think about that statement and how far our program has fallen. Think Bama or Oregon or OSU is going to say that????
  14. End penetration is one way. Every time I hear defensive genius Pelini say '' they did some things we weren't expecting '' I throw up in my mouth. Kids afraid of contact. Watch #33. He avoids contact most of the time. Not the Husker mentality that used to be expected.
  15. I saw #33 give a mere shoulder shrug into a pulling guard on an off-tackle run by Minnesota. I saw #6 standing flat footed on that last QB keeper by Minny and then gave him a hug as he crossed the goal line. I saw a defense playing uninspired. Randle getting blown off the ball 5 yards? LBs out of position on almost every TE pass play? Pelini sticking with Martinez no matter what, even though the offense couldn't move the ball one iota? It's too bad it's not just one thing, that can hopefully be addressed and fixed. When you have a systematic break down of the whole unit, drastic changes need to be made. C'mon, Minnesota????? Really? How can we move the ball somewhat effortlessly against our last few opponents, then when you switch to Martinez, the offense goes nowhere and yet you still stick with him? Does Martinez know where the bodies are buried or have some dirt on Pelini that ensures no matter what he's going to play??? How embarrassing for the whole NU program. Disgusting.
  16. Pathetic. Sure hope the Ad is watching. If Pelini won't make the decisions, maybe he will for him. After watching Kellogg and Armstrong move the ball and score regularly, you revert back to Martinez and watch him struggle, how does that make sense????? Talk about a new low for Nebraska football. Nothing surprises me anymore with Pelini. How sad. Wow.
  17. Games over. Martinez back in. Why does Pelini stick with Martinez??? Anyone?
  18. Games over if they keep putting Martinez in. Plain and simple. They'll wait too long to bring Armstrong in. Can't figure out why Pelini sticks with something that doesn't work. Hard headed.
  19. If Martinez plays next series, that's Pelini being dumb and stubborn. Martinez just doesn't move this offense.
