  1. Yeah, didn't like that running lane; could have easily been a first down.
  2. I've frequented both boards (HP and HB). I have only posted on HB. I had no idea of the legal stuff going on behind the scenes at HP; of course that changed last week. Now I won't be going over there anymore. I am here from here on out.
  3. We need to beat Michigan regardless. I don't want to go to the Rose Bowl with a sour record; I want to go because we DESERVE it, and beat GOOD competition. I don't want to 'scoot' into a good bowl; I want to FLEX our way in! So yeah, I want Michigan to win; looks better on us when we beat them.
  4. It's called the Belly-G because the more O-linemen you have where their Belly Giggles, the higher chance for a bigger and better result!
  5. I always love these posts. I hope our fanbase never changes.
  6. It's not just the Badgers. Clemson is losing.... Stanford.... What a day!
  7. *Start Joke* After the play where Burkhead scored off Taylor's pass, Taylor ran up to Bo on the sidelines. Bo was obviously excited, and started to congratulate Taylor. Then Taylor put out his hand and said "Where's my cellphone B&^%H, I want to call my pops". Pelini looked down at Taylor's outstretched hand, and his expression changed.... *End Joke*
  8. I don't think a dropped ball is something you can get on the Defense for. You can get on the WR's for dropping balls, but not the DB's. But I do think it's something that will be mentioned to them.
  9. My thing is, I think Pelini is smart enough that if he believed getting Carnes in there was a good idea, he would have done so. For us to jump all over him because he didn't, well, I think that's just silly. Now to wonder WHY and ask the question; there is nothing wrong with that.
  10. While I am sure that helps, so many times we had coverage sacks, and Fonzie can't be everywhere in the backfield. I heard Green 'got it' this week in practice, which I hope he continues to 'have'. Still, this game we had more pressure on the QB than we've had all year.
  11. I'd agree. I think the game against Michigan IS the test. We have Iowa and NW at home (and both are not looking great). Penn State I think could be tough, but I think we are the better team. Michigan worries me because it's away, and that mobile QB of theirs is something we haven't shown we can stop yet.
  12. Oh wow, that's sweet! I am hoping we (as a stadium and host) can start elevating our Gameday experience. We treat opposing teams/fans with respect, but I'd like to see us elevate our band performances like other B1G teams, and bring on more fan involvement (positive involvement) in the whole experience.
  13. I wish I knew what "clicked" on defense. Bo mentioned it in the presser, and I wish I knew why today our DB's were in the right spots, and how all the sudden or DL got pressure and sacks.
  14. My brother is at every home game (sells soda). He texted me that the entrance was one of the best he's every seen. Can anyone that was at the game elaborate?
  15. You don't have to change EVERYTHING. I mean we did allow Wisconsin to keep their colors when we joined the B1G.
  16. Pointing to the sky before the kick/punt is a selfish thing?
  17. FIFY. Lest folks get the wrong idea. You're right. I had to read that sentence twice because I thought he was talking about the REAL NU.
  18. So with our win today and with learning more from the other B1G games today, how do we do in the remaining games? - Michigan pretty easily beat beat Purdue; @ Michigan. - Penn State pulled out a squeaker against Illinois, @ Penn State. - Iowa lost to Minnesota 22 to 21; @ Minnesota. - Northwestern put up A LOT against Indiana; @ Indiana. I think our toughest competition comes from Michigan. I see us pulling out wins with all the others.
