  1. Nebraska - 17 S. Carolina - 14 Rushing - 175 Passing - 125 I don't see this being a high scoring game. If it is, we lose.
  2. He has 3 stars according to ESPN. I'm surprised by all of these different targets at CB, but he would still be a good pickup. It looks like he is playing safety in his film. Any idea if we are recruiting him as a CB or S?
  3. http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/7378440/pittsburgh-panthers-make-wisconsin-badgers-paul-chryst-coach Looks like Wisconsin's offensive coordinator is headed to Pitt to take the head coaching job there. You know what this means? We don't have to play against his offenses any more! He showed this year against us that he is a very good offensive mind, so good for him getting this coaching gig. Anybody know if he will coach during the Rose Bowl? Badgerfan? Eh?
  4. How do you explain any freshman starting QB, ever, then? If Fuller is good enough, a good offensive coordinator would simplify our offense so that he could run it. It would be built around him. As wildly talented as Fuller is, I don't know that the talent gap between him and Taylor is large enough that it warrants more or less scrapping the system in place to start from the ground up with a similar system that Fuller can run. Perhaps that scenario would be more likely if we didn't already have a two year starter and our other QB options were mediocre. I think that's when you see a lot of freshman come in and take over. I don't think you would have to change anything for him. He fits parfectly into our current scheme, but he throws the ball much better than Taylor and if you ask me, he is a better runner also. His highlight tape is insane!!! And he has only played New Jersey high school defenses. I think Fuller is a heck of a prospect and his highlight tape is one of the most impressive that I've seen this year but let's try to keep it real, eh? I'm not sure what caliber of football New Jersey high schools play, but I'll be honest... If he can make plays like that against Nebraska C1 teams, that's still pretty impressive.
  5. Good luck to him and Charlie Weis. I would like to see Weis have success at KU but I have a feeling if he does, he will just jump ship for a bigger school.

  7. I saw on ESPN's recruiting site that Leggett only runs a 4.83 40. Good God, I think I run it almost that fast
  8. My top 5 would be Fuller, Peat, Diggs, Beaver, Lambert.
  9. I like this guy more and more every day! He is seriously awesome!
  10. So I just watched his highlight tape again, and since Seisay committed, Fuller moves to #1 on my must-get list, right ahead of Quanzell Lambert and Jordan Diggs. We all talked last year about how Bubba Starling could come in and take T-Mart's place, but THIS guy really really could. He shows a great arm, throws well on the move, is very fast, and is also a shifty runner. He takes Taylor's skill sets and ups them about 3 notches.
  11. It's kind of like the Bo coaching rumors. Every time a head coaching job at another school opens up, we hear about Bo being contacted, and Bo always shoots it right down. Miami, Penn State, Ohio State. I'm surprised there wasn't a rumor about him and UCLA and Arizona. Point is, rumors come out of left field and almost none of them are true.
  12. I'm just glad he didn't make his pick yesterday
  13. I know right? They are pretty entitled for a team that only beat Ole Miss by 5, Texas A&M by 4 (should have gotten slaughtered but A&M sucks), and Troy by only 10... And got absolutely slaughtered by LSU and Bama.
  14. somebody with a twitter account needs to start askin questions. I didn't expect it to be this dead
  15. hahaha I wish Stumpy but I just didn't post right after his announcement. I knew better than to think everybody else wouldn't right away anyways
  16. Here's how ridiculously weird I have gotten. I have all of Mo's tweets coming straight to my phone haha. Therefore when he announces, I know I won't miss it. Beat that!
  17. alright he just posted this article: http://nebraska.247sports.com/Article/Talented-cornerback-explains-his-thoughts-on-each-team-53757 Somebody with a Huskers Illustrated insider membership read it and tell us what he says. Also said his concentration of studies will be public relations/branding. Does either Arkansas or Nebraska have a good program in that field?
  18. He tweeted on the 8th which was a week before his trip to Arkansas. A lot could have changed since then. haha I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I like how he is using social media to screw with fans' heads. It's pretty comical.
  19. And didn't we determine that the jersey was a recruiting violation? Because it happened at Arkansas... Ole Miss is on there too with a jersey for him... Why is the $EC allowed to do these kinds of things? I might be wrong, but I thought that it was only a violation if it was a personalized jersey with their name on it, like Arkansas did with Tevin Mitchell last year.
  20. haha pessimistic much? I have my doubts, but I still have faith that Bo and Co. can finish strong and get at least 4 or 5 of these higher profile guys that we have our sights set on.
  21. Just grayshirt him. Gives him time to get his ACT score and mature physically before he starts playing ball
  22. Yeah, but he has also said he has been dreaming of being a blackshirt or something like that. Like I said, he is playing around with the fans.
  23. I've never been to Fayetteville, but I wouldn't imagine that the facilities would be any better than the ones at Nebraska. If I recall correctly, Nebraska has the biggest weight room in the nation and we are adding another 6,000 seats onto Memorial Stadium, which I am very excited for. I have been following Smoove's facebook and twitter for a couple of weeks now, and he really is toying with the fans. I have no idea if he will choose Arkansas or Nebraska. There is a 50-50 chance that he comes here from everything that I can tell. He is getting a lot of love from Arkansas fans on his facebook page for sure, as well as Nebraska fans but there are a lot of hog fans commenting on his page. I am really nervous about tomorrow night, and I just really hope that he chooses that N hat.
  24. You bet they would. The 2001 Miami players are only like 30 right now, and the 71 Husker players are in their sixties. Those brittle old men are no match for people in their low thirties. haha damn, I was really hoping somebody would get mad and call me on it but you got the joke way too fast. ha I didn't know that's the direction you were goin with that one but that is funny that we both think along the same wavelength
