Callahan is being watched all of time. Callahan has made it into a big thing by continuously making these types of remarks and gestures. if he really wants it, he'll step up. i didn't expect lucky to come in last season and just take over, but now that he's had a year to learn i believe he'll leave the spring number one. when wilson comes in the summer, however, that is when things could get interesting. I hope he learned how to PASS BLOCK and follow his f'ing BLOCKER'S because that's the reason he never played last year. Hmmm I didn't see too many running lanes last year for a RB to run though. We were just graced that we had a RB (Ross) who ran on pure instinct! Well a good RB put's his head down and falls forward when there's no hole - A GREAT RB turns nothing into something, so we shall see.

i totally agree. I don't think this is a trned to continue for years to come. I am happy overall with the production of the Juco's and i think they will have a better showing this year. Look at Taylor and octavien, Bowman from last year to lead our team. Can't complain to much about these guys, even though octavien has yet to play much. I personally think Zack Taylor was the TEAM MVP last year, without his MOXEY standing there and getting punished game after game (38 sacks YIKES!!) NEBRASKA would probally have been 3-9 - I think the whole HUSKER NATION owes him a THANK YOU for playing the way he did last year.

OHHH YEAAAA!!! It's the 2nd largest scoreboard in North America, The Tenessee Titan's Stadium has the largest. No college stadium will even rival it.

There was a couple guys who ddn't qualify, but the reason he is getting alot of JUCO'S is because solich's recruiting was so bad his last 3 years as coach that he left the cupboards BARE - CALLAHAN has stated that this is a WIN NOW ENVIROMENT and he can't wait for 18 year olds to develop - He needs guys that can play now. Once CALLAHAN gets 4 or 5 recruiting classes under his watch they will probally only take a few JUCO'S per year instead of 10 or 12. I have no problem with it, He has to do what he has to do.

Tickets are going to be sold for the extra seats - it better be ready. BTW you can go to www.huskers.com and click on the stadium expansion link and they have a LIVE web cam so you can see how the project is progressing - It's pretty cool.

The scoreboard and additonal seats are supposed to ready for opening day.
