  1. ah I hate speedy qbs that don't play for my team
  2. Lol bad karma for the buckeye hate nvm I got it, all is well, ABC was the last I checked because the affiliate here seems to freeze a lot and the audio is poor. I'll deal.
  3. aahhhh can't find it on TV...it seems instead I get to watch ISU @ Baylor...great.
  4. Anybody keeping tabs on this game? It's pretty important for your side of the Conference and Denard is really struggling.
  5. What were CU's and USC's? That's a pretty hard test isn't it? I dunno, I knew a kid that went to SCSU and got damn near a full ride because he was white. It'd almost be worth it if Orangeburg wasn't so nasty.
  6. Yep, Benedict as well. They toyed with determining grades based on effort and improvement rather than performance, that and their graduation rates are awful. It seems like in the South many "state" schools are or started out as HBCU's...AL, VA, WV, SC, KY
  7. Just bought a new TV and the Badgers aren't playing today...I'll be rooting for the Huskers!

I could see him going back to Ohio State though. That rumor at least has some foundation.
  9. can't imagine there'd be a bar in town showing that over ut/uga
  10. You're right, I missed that one. The State University of Wisconsin system merged with the Universty of Wisconsin system, whatever that means! haha, who knows...way before any of our times. This goes into a question I've always had about university systems. What states have them? I know for sure that WI, SC, MN, NC, TN and TX have them but it doesn't seem like Kansas (where I am now) does. I don't count the kinds of systems that GA and FL have.
  11. Wisconsin doesn't, I don't think Maryland does either.

Not sure what to think about this. Probably would be good for the conference but would surely mean an extra loss a year, thankfully just a rumor for now.
  13. Yep, they'll be there. I'm thinking against LSU with the Tigers pulling it out.
  14. So...does anyone stand a chance of beating OU now? It's pretty much OU v LSU/Bama
  15. That last drive looked like something out of a videogame, Texas has already given up.
  16. The World will never forget this great human being who brought so much progress and positivity to all mankind...oh wait this thread is about Al Davis not Steve Jobs. In that case, no comment.
  17. I recently attended a High School graduation in which the school determined Valedictorian without weighting grades and as result the young man selected, though having a very high GPA, had not taken any honors or AP classes. It's very easy to succeed when you aren't challenged...and to be honest who the frick brags about their atheletes' academics.... What a joke! Browse rosters from both teams, very few kids branch out of the "sociology, criminology, exercise science" majors that they're guaranteed to do well in...so yes be happy your athletes get more winks and atta boys from professors than the kids get at UW. I for one don't give two sh...
  18. Big Ten Membership shouldn't impact Hockey...I wouldn't think at least.
  19. To be fair he has a point. The Big Ten is slipping and seriously lacks depth. Traditional powers in PSU and OSU are down and while Michigan looks pretty good they haven't played anyone thats given me confidence. Iowa and MSU are just kind of around. UW is good, Nebraska should be as well but we won't know how good until they're really broken in to conference play. The problem lies in the bottom half of the conference....specifically Minnesota, Purdue and Indiana. Minnesota for one is just awful, like should be in Division 2 bad. I think the SEC is still on top and I have to hand it to the Big XII as much as I hate saying it they've got a lot of good teams and great depth. Big Ten is probably the third best BCS conference at the moment but the future is bright. If we rebound with the current slate of teams we could easily compete with the SEC for dominance in the next few years...we'd be in an even better position if we could pull Mizzou or ND.
  20. Do any of you ever vote in these? I like to visit just to see the maps because they often turn out a little weird. For example look at the first question under the "CFB Panic." It asks if its time for Husker fans to panic. The answer across the nation is overwhelmingly 'no' except for in Wyoming. I've always found it funny how some random state (I know you guys have a history and granted the sample is small but still) likes to go against the grain, like some question will be "Who wins LSU v. Troy" and every state votes for LSU except for Vermont which is convinced Troy will pull off the upset...
  21. How stupid does TCU feel after the recent Big East exodus...stupid enough to join the Big XII apparently.
