Pelini would've put Carnes in had the right opportunity presented itself. He has never been afraid to throw the backup QB into the fire.

Did anyone see Yoshi ripping into A-Rod after a lackadaisical play in the 4th quarter? Players holding other players accountable. That's what I like to see.

It's Andrew Green. I actually think he's proven to be a better CB than Evans, but at this point both of them need to sit in favor of SJB. That guy has gobs of potential.

The fans. These are college kids and we have to lower our expectations, or at least understand where they're coming from. The hate these guys have to endure is ridiculous. Show some class, raise your voice, and support these kids. There's no point tearing them down.

On a positive note, I loved that we finally saw the D play with a little swagger. About. Damn. Time.

I loved it. This is football, not politics. Bo clearly has his players back, and at the end of the day that can only help us.

That was an awesome win, and this team is far from a finished product. Yes, there will be roadblocks along the way, but this team's potential is ridiculously high. Let's just enjoy the process of watching these kids mature. I'm not a huge Taylor Martinez fan, but he played his ass off last night. He did a really good job of finding open receivers and not forcing anything. And how about Rex? Unbelievable.

That's the type of stuff players are talking about when they say Bo has their backs.

It's good to hear how well Curenski has dealt with the lack of playing time. Definitely sets a good example for the young guys.

I like it. Was it the politically correct move? Hell no. But maybe this is a sign of good things to come. When Bo first got here he had an "us against the world" mentality. Maybe that's just what this team needs.
