  1. Dear Lord, you have imbued us with the drive to do better. We are pretty darn mediocre right now. You have given us the ability to improve. We will do that. Amen.
  2. What idiot decided to make an electronic assembly without eutectic solder?
  3. The cost of employer health care adds about $5 to $7 to the loaded cost of American labor. We are the only nation that saddles our domestic companies with that burden.
  4. We suck, so pour it on! If we won, we'd be gloating. Most of us were still fans during darker years, so we can take it.
  5. 7-5, with additional losses to Wisconsin, Ohio State, Michigan and Michigan State.
  6. 1-5 against the B1G since 1987. Win was against an unranked Purdue squad that went 3-8. Since the 2005 season they have been one of the most successful programs in the nation on the field.
  7. Success through good coaching is a major factor in recruiting top players. So is the level and location of the competition and the chance to play on national TV.
  8. Probably still top 40 in Sagarin, but will get no votes in the two major polls.
  9. Two years ago I did not care about most teams in the Big Ten, except for Iowa, Michigan, Ohio State and Wisconsin. I used to care about the eleven teams of the Big XII, now I only wish to see Texas lose. Bottom line... the teams that the Big XII gained did much better than the teams they lost today. That was the topic of this thread.
  10. Hmmm... Perhaps I misread the scores of the games I posted. Perhaps my comment about today's results will not hold true at some point in the future (not the point made in the OP). Next time I will be more specific and and include such a disclaimer for those that prefer not to read.
  11. The Big XII is a temporary home for teams scattered throughout the country, and will bot last the decade. That said, the quality of the product they are fielding has improved, and is better than the Big Ten this season. And as the OP stated, their new teams had a much better day today than their old teams.
  12. I could argue with you and say that UCLA does not suck and that you are wrong about TCU and WV, but it is pointless to hold a discussion with someone who failed to read the thread topic.
  13. So it's all about the money and not about the football?
  14. They were beat-downs, as they should have been. TCU and WVa performed well on the field.
  15. Teams that Left: Nebraska - Road loss vs UCLA (30-36) Colorado - Home loss vs Sacramento State (28-30) Texas A&M - Home loss to Florida (17-20) Missouri - Home loss to Georgia (41-20) Teams that Joined: TCU - Home win vs Grambling (56-0) West Virginia - Home win vs Marshall (69-34)
  16. We blocked and defended like Matadors, why not? Yeah, this is a meltdown thread...
  17. The better team won. face it, Bo Pelini and his staff are not a good coachs.
