It's funny how the commentators are loving on the option. I remember the commentators trashing the option when NU ran it in the 80s and early 90s and then again starting about mid 1998. I guess defensive players must be slow again.

I would like to see Hundly knocked out of the game by good clean hits. No permanent injury just hit hard enough so he needs some time on the bench to enjoy some oxygen and maybe a warm milk. Then the NU defense could have the UCLA second string QB for dessert.

I say this in a LA newspaper. "UCLA's defense gave up 24 first-half points last week, but adjusted in the second half with a dime package that paved the way to a second-half shutout." If UCLA plays dime does NU counter with Imani and just run those little guys into ground?

I expect Heard to have a big day, and I expect Maher to be back to last years form. I want to see the defense dominate including at least 2 interceptions.

The article say in the 4.3s, so he could be as slow as 4.39 if you believe these stories. I think NU needs speed at DL and LB, so I would be thrilled with a 4.39 LB, and Drake is already as big as L. David. If Drake could add some weight and be faster than Neil Smith I could dream of the days when NUs defense put the fear of God into opposing QBs.

I just read a story about Taylor's little brother and it states he runs a 40 in the 4.3s. It also says he wants to play defense in college and that he could play DE if he gained some weight. I am sure he would lose some speed if he became big enough to play DE, but It sure would be fun watching a DE in the 4.5 range. Who was the fastest DE NU ever had? Does anyone know NUs chances of landing Drake Martinez?
