  1. People who say this actually expect 5 QBs to stick around when they're not starting... that just doesn't make sense, to anyone. Yep. If you can keep three scholarship guys and a walk-on or two, you're doing pretty well. I believe Alabama currently has one scholarship QB on the roster.
  2. He always seemed to be a Stanford lean. I think Washington go in the picture due to their great season. Plus they have (I think) the next five or six best recruits in the state committed (Foster being #1) so they've done a great job with their in-state recruiting. Guessing the academics of Stanford plus recent football success is still pretty appealing.
  3. I'm pretty sure you do not remember correctly. Riley said it in an interview. At the 12 minute mark https://soundcloud.com/kxtg-the-bald-faced-truth/bft-interview-mike-riley-1 Eh, I'll give credit for bringing that up as I was not aware of that. But "hope to maybe get back to" something he's never really done doesn't exactly sound like a goal to me.

  8. TA, Foster and Marcus Newby did not practice today. Cole Conrad was back practicing.
  9. Im interested in knowing, with 4 days to prepare for the Iowa game, TA has a torn Hammy and all of a sudden Fyfe can't take a ball from center.....who do you think should have played QB with a realistic chance to actually be ready to run an offense? If the main problem was taking snaps from under center - which has mainly been what was stated - they could always ... you know ... not take snaps from under center.
