  1. Bray said they plan to play six LBs this year but it might be as few as four based on readiness and versatility, especially from Young.
  2. So, maybe I've saying this wrong for a long time. According to the Pronunciation Guide on page 5 it's said "BAN-dair-us". I've always said it - and thought I heard it - "ban-DAIR-us". Am I dreaming that up?
  3. Huskers.com page with previous year's media, bowl and spring guides 2015 Media Guide (pdf)
  4. Still planning to OV for the Michigan State game. Said we're his #2.
  5. It's possible that Williams will start but to say the media and the fans have created a narrative seems odd. What created the narrative is the fact that VV and Collins have been the starters and Williams hasn't.
  6. Apparently not even Iowa fans are rooting for Iowa....
  7. So is that "soon" as in, right now? Looks like an announcement ceremony.

  9. Yes. Sorry, that was continued from a few posts earlier.
  10. Meaning he might not go? As in the staff basically told him if he goes we'll start looking for other QBs? Meaning if he likes it he's thinking he could switch to Oregon.
  11. Speaking of his visit to Oregon he said the possibility of change is "very high".

  13. If you look at the 105 man roster, it just seems odd to me. Obviously the coaches have seen the players but we're eight deep at RB, have 12 WRs, have a walk-on fifth-string QB, and have several walk-on players on defense who are well down the depth chart. I'm sure a bunch of those guys are going to be on special teams and you need those guys in camp but we have at least one freshman walk-on. How can they know he's going to be more of a contributor? We even have a walkon offensive lineman on the roster who's never played in a game and can't be higher than fourth string. Plus he's a guard and we're deeper there. I just think the only reason for leaving one guy off is to send a message that he's not wanted and basically try to run him off. I just think it's an odd choice.
  14. Sounds like Reilly was owning the corners yesterday. They couldn't handle his speed.
  15. Sounds like TA definitely looked the best in the first practice. Same story on Darlington - very accurate and anticipates his throws well but not as strong of an arm. Speculation that the coaches are working on Bush's mechanics or thinking a little too much. Didn't have the same zip, like he was kind of aiming it.
  16. A bunch of comments - not the least of which from Riley - that Stevenson is quite a ways behind in the conditioning department. That's not surprising - actually, you'd hope that would be the case. But, while people are impressed with his potential, it sounds like he's got a long ways to go to be up to speed with the other backs.
