  1. Most people, not all, that make this argument are not giving the players enough credit. I mean, we're talking about college educated MEN here, not kids. True, they're still young men. But they've got enough common sense to know what's up. They're not blind to what is going on. And to quote a phrase.... "Deserves' got nothin to do with this...."
  2. Yep, the place with five national championships and multiple conference championships has unreasonable expectations - with the guy who's getting over $3 mil a year ,
  3. Yeah...for example - where was THIS at last week?!? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsCsW-PeEEo
  4. What is the job of a head coach? Well, having been an assistant, here's what it details (to me): 1. A Head coach is face of the franchise. 2. A Head coach must have both a long term and short term vision for the franchise, which is driven by one simple expectation - winning. 3. A Head coach must clearly communicate his vision to his/her subordinates. In turn, the subordinates must clearly communicate that vision to the players. 4. A Head coach organizes the various tasks of his/her team as needed, taking care of the more administrative duties while allowing his/her assistants to coach. 5. A Head coach oversees practices and other training sessions. He/She oversees the entire group of players, as it is his/her responsibility. 6. A Head coach must interact with the media regularly, since he/she is the face of the franchise. 7. A Head coach must graduate players. 8. A Head coach must sit down with potential recruits and families, to encourage those potential recruits to sign with the franchise. 9. A Head coach must abide by all regulatory guidelines as issued by the NCAA. 10. A Head coach must act with the highest level of integrity, as well as the highest level of support for the franchise. These are just ones I came up with off the top of my head.
  5. Lemme try it this way: PASS PASS PASS FAIL
  6. I never said it was 'okay to yell'. I just said that you get away with screaming and hollering if you are winning games of note. So, to clarify - if Bo won the B1G in 2012, or if he had won one of those BigXII championships - this wouldn't be as much of an issue. Winning is a huge a** buffer for things. I mean, hell - how does Bobby Petrino have a job? Cause the guy won games and can coach his tail off, that's why. People are more forgiving if success is involved, unfortunately. Listen to Adam Carricker on "The Bottom Line." http://www.omaha.com/huskers/blogs/tbl-nebraska-football-recap-with-former-huskers-carriker-kellogg/article_d110ac46-6ebd-11e4-8a5d-7705508ad01f.html He says it the best about the yelling and screaming.
  7. Again, you notice this because you are a Husker fan. Its a weak argument on your part. No, Iowa fans, Michigan Fans, and many other fans notice this as well. I can also pull articles about Bo's demeanor outside of nebraska as well if you'd like. There are articles out there of other coaches as well. Bo is not the only coach that yells. Alexhortdog is doing a pretty damn good job of showing it but you must have your blinders on or have him on ignore. Hold the phone, my friend....LOL The only reason why I was putting those pictures up there was to say that most of those head guys have actually WON something or played for something important. Saban - Winner. Meyer - Winner. Tuberville - Winner. Kelly - Winner-ish (so far, the verdict is still out on him). Belechick - Winner. Funny trivia note - He used to be Nick Saban's boss in Cleveland. Bo? Nope, not so much. You can get away with screaming and hollering for the most part if you are actually winning games of note.
  8. Curse you for saying that. Curse you to HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL FOR THAT!
  9. Here's a video of Brian Kelly. I don't particularly like Kelly, because he does insult players, and there is evidence of the fact: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8coKDztBEAY
  10. Here's a Saban type explosion. But I can't find one where he's blowing up at refs, other coaches, AND the players. Bo seems to be an equal opportunity a** chewer, LOL
  11. ummm, yeaaa...... Okay, you compile the amount of videos of Muschamp yelling and I will compile the amount of videos of Bo yelling. See who has the most. Not agreeing or disagreeing with you on this. I just like posting videos of coaches losing their s**t, LOL Here's one of Saban. He's attempting to calm down his QB, but yelling at the same time:
  12. You have to know Bell's psyche to know where he's coming from. Read this: http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/writer/dennis-dodd/24664628/power-and-water-shut-off-huskers-bell-paid-bills-with-bartender-gig That's why he probably relates to Bo so well, with Bo's upbringing in Youngstown, Ohio.
  13. Here's the problem with this situation now (and it was the same then, too): Other than KB (who said he'd go to the 'Gates of Hell' for Bo).....what other passionate defender of Bo has there been (current players)? When playing the game isn't fun any longer - you see what you see on Saturday.
  14. I think Bo is trying his hardest. Unfortunately, I think the job is bigger than what he thought it was. Personally, I think the same thing happened to Callahan. Guys that come here think that everybody here are podunk, tobacco-chewin, gun toting, overall wearing, inbred hicks that know nothing.
  15. Somebody better tell Kenny that mail tampering is a federal offense. He's acting like this is freaking Valdosta State or something.
  16. a mailman; a better chance at delivering a championship than bo! Yep, they always deliver on their guarantees, LOLZ!
  17. I don't know if I'd beat @$$ for a Playboy. Now, a Hustler....someone's goin DOWN!
