  1. This is the part of the season I hate the most. Coaching changes, recruiting & bowl prep are all speculation. I need credible sources for the following: - DC Job - Who is Carl taking with him? - Is Cotton out? - Are we going to land any serious recruits this year
  2. Can Meyer recruit only current OSU recruits or is he out visiting new recruits?
  3. Why would a University like Wisconsin go after the likes of Dayne Crist? He's a bench rider. If his name were Dayne Christ, then I'd agree with the pursuit. And no offense to people named Dayne that I haven't met, but I've never met a Dayne that I liked. Just sayin.
  4. The ESPN article had a quote from the AD that I thought was interesting. It was a response to the unfair argument. His contention was essentially that Meyer will be the only coach on the recruiting trail. That said, that's still one hell of a coach out recruiting. I don't see the logic in letting them do this, but it's what we've come to expect from a regulatory authority that has been embarrassed 3 times this year: Ohio State<Miami<Penn State. At this point, they've got to be thinking "what the hell, this season is almost over anyway, and thank god for that."
  5. Agree. Agree. Agree. Tebow is like Boise State when they're undefeated - let them play in the NC and let them get exposed for the second rate team that we all think they are. Tebow has good stats, wins, rushing yards, ect but it's only a matter of time before he's exposed for the one dimensional player he is.
  6. I know this thread hasn't been bumped in a while but my recent disgust with Tebow made me go looking for a trash Tebow thread. I'm so annoyed with him that it's actually making me go out and look for a thread on an internet forum that trashes Tebow. As sad as that sounds, I'm still more annoyed with Teblow than I am disappointed in myself that I went looking for a Tebow hater thread. There's a skeleton waiting in his closet for the perfect day to jump out. But for now, we've only got this to keep us grounded in reality: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myNyMP9ddrg I'll also bet that he would fail the psychopath test: http://www.arkancide.com/psychopathy.htm
  7. Ha. Yes. But I can't resist saying that I bet this has something to do with Carl's off the field endeavors.
  8. I don't think Spielman would make any impact. He uses the phrase "dial up a blitz" too much. I hope Bo hires someone with experience instead of a close friend.
  9. Suh is suspended 2 games: http://content.usatoday.com/communities/thehuddle/post/2011/11/lions-dt-ndamukong-suh-suspended-two-games-for-stomp/1 Regardless of intent, fault, or injury, I'm pissed that he's going to miss 2 games.

  11. If it's not intended to be a draft ESPN Analysts, I'm still going to put my jabs in. McShay and Kiper are never going to draft anyone so what they say doesn't actually matter. These two idiots couldn't have a more irrelevant expertise. I'd hate to be in the position of watching exhausting hours of game film (which I doubt they do) and have it essentially be meaningless. I'll bet that the owners hate the fact that those guys exist because they're the ones that have to pay exorbitant salaries for the top draft picks. Somewhere out there, there is a draft scout that is salivating over David because he's not on the McShay and Kiper radar. Every day in the NFL non-superstar rookies make an impact and that's why teams win games. Deion Branch & Danny Woodhead are excellent examples. Roy Helu ran for 100 yards this weekend.
  12. Bo said repeatedly throughout the season that the gap between Carnes and Martinez is large. Beck is a philosophical coach and I'm sure Taylor will spend a large amount of time this offseason watching film from his drop back passes. Taylor ran on instinct last year and was lights out until he hurt his ankle. He was learning an offensive philosophy this year and played really well considering having a new QB coach and offensive coordinator, rookie o line, and no Helu. I can't wait for next year when Rex is a senior, he's got the system down, o-line is legit. What impressed me the most this season was Taylors ability to handle the Nebraska Fanbase megaphone. Our fans can change their minds on a player faster than Fox News. With QB's like Scott Frost, Turner Gill, Tommy Frazier, and others, the pressure Taylor is under is tremendous. Props to him for handling that like a man. Ready for the SEC in the bowl game. GBR.
