even though i am not a big 10 fan and believe they have been hyped, there is no way the pac 10 is going to challenge the big 10. an over hyped penn st will still destroy any team save maybe USC

I for one am not happy about this move to the big 10. to begin with i hate all of the teams in that arrogant undeserving conference. I dont want to hate the teams nebraska plays. dislike at times but respect always (except ksucks)... I live in kansas city, and this move is going to kill sporting life here. as well how easy is it going to be to travel to penn st. each year to see the huskers play and support them on the road. iowa city isnt the shortest drive from lincoln as well. atleast we could attend the north games pretty easily and inexpensively. i almost feel like nebraska is running away from the tx schools. we havent beat them in awhile so lets move on...i am ashamed when i speak to my KU friends. I believe in TO but is he bringing his bitterness from 1992 to 2010?? and by the way stop writing the threads about the tx game, after this move it doesnt matter anymore. The money is bigger in the Big 10. but in a few years when the big 12 redoes their tv contracts, how can they not demand bigger money since over the last decade Big 12 teams have been in the majority of the national title games. Hell with the money TX, TX am, Oklahoma, and even NU and Mizzou have they should be able to start their own network. TX and Mizzou supply the household TVs. Hell why not just go get BYU and boise state for a few more... Overall, i am not happy about this move. maybe it will be the best move in the end but right now not sure. I am going to miss being able to see the Huskers in person on the road. I am going to miss seeing the Huskers every few years in the championship game at arrowhead.

here in kansas city, sports 810 are reporting that initial invitations to nebraska, mizzou, rutgers, and possibly notre dame have been issued. the official invitation would then happen next month when the big ten commishes meet. the reporters here feel that it is a done deal in terms of mizzou since the governer wants it...i am torn really...i have always disliked the big 10...but if it is more money and better education for the university then why the hell not...anybody know hwat has to happen in nebraska for this move to happen?

I havent noticed much talk about this on here but maybe i am missing it. I live in KC so it is always on the radio. If mizzou leaves, will the big 12 go on without another team? this will eliminate the champtionship game..what if colorado goes Pac 10.... the radio here is always whining about NU and the texas schools getting all the money... any ideas?

i live here in KC and I cant get over how ignorant KU fans are. they act like they are Notre Dame like in football tradition. They have had about 4 years of success in their 100years of having a program. All i hear here from my friends, media, and everyone else how Gill is a bad hire. He didnt even have a winning record in Buffalo, etc..... They are not smart enough to realize what Buffalo was as a program before he came there and to win there was really a huge success. they dont see the advantage having a african american coach that has the experiences he had at nebraska and is himself a proven winner. I get really old listening to the bashing he is taking here already...it is going to be hard to root for him since KU and KU fans are so poor that it makes it hard to root for them at all!! But i hope they learn what they have got

Mendoza never played defense. He was with the wide receivers for a brief time but switched over when Castille left. sorry i was mistaken there..i know how some get upset when a mistake is made....it just seems to me there were other options besides a hurt RB. If they are not gonna play him alot at RB then put him back at WR, we need help there too.

Maybe i am missing something but his name is not mentioned alot when discussing RB's. Didnt they pull him off the Defense to fill in once Q was let go. I thought he did a good job last year so i figured he would be the number 2 and last week since he had experience be the number 1. so what am i missing, why does it seem he doesnt play alot?

I will be honest..I did not see us winning that game. Zac lee couldnt hit anything. If he did they couldnt catch it. But i also knew if we could come back the D would have to do it. They did!! Lee had that one big pass but that game was won by the D. Lee better make points when the D gives them the ball in the 20. But never the less, did we pull it out of our *ss??? Dont good teams stick with it until something good happens? Don't good team persevere until that one big play is made? Don't great player, Suh, find a way to step up and lead their team? All good teams are down at some point late in a game and come back. That is what makes them good. We had a better defense and that shoed through in the end. I live in Kansas City by the way and am a teacher who displays alot of Husker stuff in my room so the kids love to let me hear it. So i am getting ready for a day of hearing " Nebraska pulled that out of their *ss". But I know that the Huskers did what they needed to do to win and that is what good teams do!!!! Dont forget "THE CATCH" at that same stadium that allowed us to go on to great things!

was invited to go to columbia in a limo from KC. then sit in their version of skyboxes. but i have to work. can't call in sick cuz the person who invited me is the husband of my "boss"...so now i have to try to find a place to watch it where i will be.....horrible situation.....

What seems to be your problem with Youtube videos. Is the site simply blocked? yes, my school system blocks them. even if the kids come up with a proxy server to get to it they load extremely slow..

I really dont know how hard it is or if it is a problem with the board server but is there anyway we can have the great videos you all make in another form than utube as well? I enjoy making...i mean allowing my students in kansas to watch the videos on friday..I have old ones but new ones would be great....just curious

i guess i was a little worried since the tickets arent in the traditional visitor section. for example today there are tickets in section 8 row 44....i really wish i could go but can't...but those seem like good seats In the past when i have gotten returned tickets they were in the south west corner.

does anyone know why there are still tickets available for the first few games? will this hurt our sell out streak if they are not purchased? they also seem very random on where they are located. thanxs for the info

I tried to see if this has been discussed but didnt see it anywhere..... What is up with West? All season long he has been burned. From the first game, i could see he was a liability. Then against KU, he was close to giving away the game with his efforts. Do we really have nobody better to put out there. Thank God Mangino didnt get smart and just throw his way all game long!! This coaching staff is doing a great job but they do seem to have a weakness in giving kids too many chances sometimes...

coming from KC with a couple of big time KU supporters....Has become a traditions to attend the game together...hoping for a victory or I may have to move out of kansas..

Here in KC there has been much said about Lucky's comment after the game the other day...He said "Missouri . . . they need to watch out, because we've got a lot of anger right now." Not sure if he needs to give Mizzou more reason to play hard...plus he needs to play better before he talks.

has anyone sat in the west side under the balcony lately. i may be able to buy some tickets there but i am not sure if you can see the big screen under the balcony or how the field looks.....the seats are like 40-45 rows up....not sure how many there are in total on that side... any advise

since they are still getting paid i think that the university should have them go coach a kids flag football team...that way they can keep up with the game and maybe get a nice janitorial/JV junior high assistant coach gig when this is all over. We should help those who have done so much for the program

Ganz vs Keller??? Who cares...it would not have mattered who was the QB the way the Defense has played all year....when your D gives up a minimum of 400 yds a game it doesnt matter how many points you score...i think ganz is doing well because he can run since our O line consistantly has not blocked all year. Ganz is able to get out of the way...and face it KSUcks is not a good team and they have a coach that does many stupid things..

good offense; bad offense.....better team next year or not i think we have to look at BC's opinion of Husker nation and i think he believes we are a bunch of back water farmers or something.....he has no respect for our traditions or beliefs...i think that is obvious.....i dont want a guy leading the team that represents every nebraska born son and daughter that thinks we are just sheep that will follow him around not matter what he does.....
