  1. Don't know who's it is, and i'm in haste, so I'm looking at the posters in all the forums. SOmeone has/had a really cool quote, listing all the things a human being should be able to do, and then, at the end, says speicalization is for insects. Anyone know whos, or can post the quote here? Many thanks
  2. Chow would be cool, but a little too scary, too close to home. Ithink he should get a job at NU But I definitely wouldn't want him in Colorado
  3. I don't think that posts qualifies as trolling. == As far as Jackson at WR - I would like to see his talents exploited somehow. I'm sure BC can cook up some sort of trick play.......
  4. Did anyone see that clip of South Korea's gov't on the news? They were just about getting into fisticuffs over some issue, and there was definitely a pushing match going on. I think that's sort of healthy, once in a while
  5. Honestly, I'd rather see CU get started in the right direction again. They've won a lot of N titles lately, but the problem is, their reputation isn't helping, obviously. I would like to see Cu get strong again, so there can be a strong N division, and hopefully challenge the south. If there is one thing I don't like, it is warm weather football teams..... At least they get snow in CU. Also, CU pakcing up its FB program would mean one more big game lost for NU to play in. It's unfortunate enoug as it is, that we see OU on and off as it is. I wouldn't want CU. Most of all, I want the North to get strong again, and to get some respect back. Sure, I want Nebraska to win and dominate, but I'd rather have them do so in a strong conference (alla This years Big 10). If Nebraska was MU, and went 7-4 in the Big 10 having switched with NU's schedual, then I think that would be more significant on a national level. But that's stretching things a lot to make a point. Bottom line - I hope the best for CU. Sure, some of their fans have been real losers in the past, but, they are a part of the Big 12, and the N div., and as long as they are such, I want them to act like they belong to be playing Division 1 football. I want them to become a great, and worthy NU opponent, not slipping into some 2bit program that considers us a rivalry game every year in November.
  6. I hope he finds a position someday. His versitlity is great, but, I thik he needs some solidarity, too. Whereever he can have the most success, practical success..... I'm sure that's how BC is taking it. That's how I would.....
  7. Well, if he's going to UBuff, maybe I'll be able to get is autograph at least. Buffalo is a stones throw away from where I'll be going to college in January - Geneseo
  8. Great idea..... They can use my sig, if they want........ But I'm sure they can do something much better GBR Go herbie
  9. Welcome to the club. You obviously don't know what team you are addressing, because I believe that if you did, you would notice that MU is not exactly alone in being upset about playing at the Alamo bowl. But I can see how optimism may be misinterpreted
  10. Thanks for the photos so far, and thanks to the mods for putting this thread "in it's place". I really want to get one of him just before halftime break at the CU game. If anyone has it on tape, check out the look on his face. It's even better because he was cool and collected about it. Good pictures are rare, even from AP photos
  11. Yup. Former's got a lot of Pride, and I respect that in people. However, I do not respect it when people troll issues and keep bringing up the past, INTENTIONALLY causing aggrevation to the present moment by bring the past into it. I wonder, really, if FF will change his username when NU starts getting back to 9+ wins. But it is very "heroic" to take a stand against anyone else, and I'm sure it is fun to be the rebel, to stand out, and draw attention to oneself, in addition to enacting pride, and maybe even a twisted exercise in loyalty. But whatever. I guess I'll try to do better, being a fan of Nebraskan sportsmanship, to simply "not take the bait" when FF or anyone else purposely says something to ruffle feathers, or "state facts", or whatever else it may be. It's not FormerFan.com It's HUSKERBOARD.com I need to remember that I need to concern myself with the Huskers, let FF say what he needs to say, and stay on topic. I'm as guilty as anyone else.
  12. What FACTS do you have to support that??????????? Hmmm, facts, you know, facts??????????? Facts? Loyd Carr took a Michigan team and turned them into a laughing joke after going to a Rose Bowl last year. "At this point" NU coaches have that edge Really, better check the FACTS. billy c took a 10-3 team and turned them into a 5-6 team. At least UM has a winning record and is going to a bowl. And lets not even get into a comparision with FACTS such as strength of schedule (UM v NU). Does the sun still rise in the East? ? It does??? Nooo way, man. No way. I understand your disposition, Former, but..... this is a 2005 NUv MU thread. ( I suppose everyone should remember it is 2005, and not any other year) You might want to update. But hey, you know as well as I do that we're all entitled to our opinions. But you gotta get off that dope, man.
  13. !!!!! I missed it completely That sounds awesome, though.
  14. !! Oops! This was supposed to be in the Memory Chest, or some other appropriate forum. I'll try to get a mod to move it to the right place....
  15. Mostly of BC, honestly, but also if you know any good shots of the staff, or players, too. See, I like peoples facial expressions a lot, and I am so glad that BC has some awesome expressions. Anyone see the look on his face, after NU got jobbed at CU with the game clock? That was priceless, I wish I could find that somewheres. As of this moment, I only have one photo: This one made me laugh the first time I saw it, but really, I like it a lot, because you can tell BC is focused, even if he looks rather comical. So yes, any help would be much obliged. They can be funny, serious, whatever. Ideally, I'd like to capture the intensity of the game. Thanks.
  16. As for the 'Clones... They lost to NU this year, and it may very well happen again this year. IN my mind, a close victory, by either team, doesn't show one as being overtly better than the other. Personally, I wouldn't mind it coming down to ISU and NU for the North championship next year, I'd rather see ISU win it than CU, or anyone else in the north. Besides NEBRASKA, of course
  17. ........ though I find it interesting how some people, in general, assocaite as "we", and "us", when "their/our" team, (Nebraska, right?) is doing well. But when the team looses, it's "them", or that staff, or those players, or this or that. Oh well, I suppose I'm just
  18. alright, I'm going to re-institute my Vote for herbie sig...... WE need to bring home the hardware, here
  19. Next season = This season = GBR ======== I'm looking forward to the USC game.... I think it will be a very, very interesting matchup.
