  1. TDs win games not field goals Except when the score is within 3.
  2. I dunno. Maybe we shouldn't be talking sh#t to a RB who has put up 200 already.
  3. Doesn't feel like we have a 21 point lead but I'll take it. Way more exciting than the 2010 game.
  4. Not to bag on our D, but Kansas held Zenner to 183 yards in Weis's first game.
  5. Whoever said Zenner reminded them of Helu was spot on. I see a lot of similarities.
  6. Meh. Moss had to look off the QB. No else out there if the QB kept it.
  7. Anyone notice how many Jacks were on Quincy after that catch? Must be nice to have a defense that converges on the ball carrier.
  8. They should have had Zenner for a 1-yard loss. Our guys don't give a sh#t at this point.
  9. We did.... and Zenner ran right up the middle for 41 yards. Clyde, It seems that Zenner is running all over us no matter what we do. It's an issue.
  10. Since this was brought up I can't help but wonder why this is legal? Didn't the NCAA have a rule about only two players can celebrate together or something? I vaguely remember it costing Georgia against Florida one year because their whole team ran out and celebrated. You know, I vaguely remember a time when the kids out here weren't allowed to dance. Led to a whole mess of trouble. Book burnings, games of chicken with tractors. A real wise kid finally got up and gave an inspiring speech. Even quoted scripture about celebrating and rejoicing and everything. Eventually we learned that music and dancing aren't the problem. And Willard finally got laid, I think. You let those kids dance, dammit.
  11. People are legitimately upset that someone trotted out that tape. I don't care how it affects Bo Pelini as a distinct matter. He can kiss my f*&$ing ass on the way out the f*&$ing door as far as I'm concerned. But it has done serious harm to the program. So, yeah, I'm pissed off at the leaker, too. So we find out who released it. What then? Will people harass him? Send letters to his employer? That would look pretty darn bad and keep the story in the news indefinitely. "Husker Don'ts" would become a regular Deadspin feature. Just drop it. That's the important distinction - WE don't need to know who the tipster is, and I hope for that person's sake WE never do. But for the damage they've done to the program going forward, I would certainly hope that the University finds and punishes this person. I don't have a problem with that. A duty of loyalty was owed and breached. I suppose it's inevitable the leaker's identity will be nailed down if it hasn't been already. Someone rash enough to send the recording to Deadspin probably left more than a few breadcrumbs. The questions will be of the breadth of dissemination and the reaction. Now that things have died down a little, I can't really see a mob ripping this guy or gal limb from limb. I'd worry a little about collateral damage to innocents associated with the leaker, but that's speculation and I'm a softie.

  13. That was about 5 minutes of material in a 12 minute segment. He's got a point insofar as Bo and everyone else just needs to drop it. It's foolish to look for the identity of the leaker. ESPN headline: "Angry and Confused Husker Horde Hunts Down Person Who Leaked Tape of Bo Pelini Telling Said Horde to F*#k Off."
  14. My wife bought a 2012 CCG shirt at Lemon Days because it was marked down to $3.
