That is the highest ranking for a 3 Star prospect. Top 750 kids coming out of High School in the whole nation. I don’t understand why people think a kid rated as a Top 3 Star prospect means that Rivals missed on them. So far I would say they are right on the money. All three of those guys are All Conference worthy but not All American worthy.

This is a huge misconception. Bill Callahan had 4 recruiting classed while he was coach here and in those classes he signed 15 Nebraska kids (not counting Walk-ons) for an average of 3.75 kids per class. Bo Pelini has had 5 full classes while at Nebraska and he has signed 17 Nebraska kids (not counting Walk-ons) for and average of 3.4. As of right now this year there is only one verbal from an in-state kid and the only one from last year had the last name Cotton. Maybe Pelini is bringing in more in-state Walk-On’s but he definitely is not signing more scholarship athletes on signing day then the previous staff was.

Just because a player has an All Time record does not make him an All Time great player. There are plenty of players throughout college football history that have set team and NCAA All Time records that would not be considered All Time greats at their respective positions. I won’t say this is the case with Taylor Martinez because he still has work left to do, but just something to think about before throwing his name in with Tommie, Turner and Crouch.

Well according to their respective Rivals profiles. Coming out of high school PJ Smith ran a 4.7 and Bellomy ran a 4.6. So technically he is a step faster then Smith and he also had the angle on the play.

I don't know if "Bo Must Go", but something isn't right and needs to be addressed. The special team play was terrible and we continue to have dumb penalties. We won though so life is good!
