Think we will burn Vincent Valentine's redshirt if the line play gets bad in the ccg?I'm thinking that a 3-4 might be the best way to go in this scenario.

As stated above, elite level athlete and a very raw football player. If I had to take a guess, I'd say he didnt start playing football until HS or well into HS. Looks like a big physical track runner, which isn't a bad thing at all. He has all of the physical tools needed. Just needs to be coached. Yea, I can see that comparison to track runner. I would like to see him get to 210 in a couple years if he comes here. That way when he hits he actual knocks them down instead of having to wrap up high after a hit.

From his video, he hits hard runs fast and get around blocks well. Anyway we could take and turn him into a defensive end or is he too short?

I have faith in the staff, they turned a running back into a first round corner in Prince Amukamara. With that said however this kid does not need some work. Does not tackle well, hits high or wraps up high. But he has a good motor stays with the play and gets off blocks well so he can definitely be turned into a good cornerback or safety. He is tall too and I like that we are recruiting tall cornerbacks.

I think each of them taking an unofficial visit works out in our favor, now Johnson and Bradley have visited but still have one of their officials left to come to Nebraska after the season.

The Tennessee guy decommitted, so lets get this Lavon, Bradley, and redshirt Johnson. The year after Johnson redshirts (2014), we could Johnson as an anchor to help Aaron Curry and Vince Valentine get ready to take over on the line. While using Lavon and Bradley as anchors for the year before. We could have a real good rotation of d-lineman next year and the year after.

He gets good separation, but I can't tell if thats because he is simply bigger than all of the other defensive backs out there. He might be worth a scholarship but his blocking does not look to be that great, however his video makes it hard to judge where he is at the start of the plays.

Mauro Bondi was one of the best placekickers when he was recruited, we wasted his eligibility last year might be worth it to put him in this year.

Martinez has to get it, he was our offence for the most part.
